While still in the business world, philanthropist Nicholas Schwartz had a dramatic encounter with a homeless man named Rich. It was so startling that Schwartz eventually invited Rich to lunch, touching off an ongoing series of meetings that led to profound results in Rich’s life. So profound that it prompted the author to search for other stories of men who have seen God move in miraculous—yet often quiet—ways. The result is 20 moving chapters chronicling evidence of God’s presence in the world. This experience prompted Nick to change professions and lead a nonprofit foundation that provides clean water infrastructure to poor communities.
